She's got no leg to stand on. Just get a bumper sticker. Guess she has more time and money than sense. Or is a front for some idiotic atheist organization - they really need to pick their battles.

Pronounce it out loud, it'll make sense.

IT holds that the Godhead is octpartite: Father, Son, Holy Ghost, Mother in law, Neighbor Bob, Weird uncle Jim and crazy Aunt Betty and Rusty the Dog. They have trouble attracting adherents because they get tired of saying "in the name of the Father, Son, Holy Ghost, Mother in law, Neighbor Bob, Weird uncle Jim and crazy Aunt Betty and Rusty the Dog" while remembering what part of the body to point to signifying each one.

Baptist could be someones last name, but I'll bet no one is named 8theist.

...no it doesn't...

"MASTURB8" or "NO H8" or "LOSE W8" all make sense... "Eight-theist" sounds different than "aye-thiest"...

Yes. But if we're going to get into quibbles a lot of license plates don't make sense.

No, most are alphanumeric gibberish by design.

More like "eh-theist".

To me "aye" is pronounced like "eye".

Oh okay, we pronounce it the same.

I use the classical rules I learned in gr. 2; of "if an 'e' follows a consonant, the vowel before that consonant is long"

That said, English is annoying for many many reasons.
