Freakinoldguy Freakinoldguy:
You can't insult the leader of the most powerful nation in the world and expect to be welcomed with open arms and have your wishes come true which is something our shiny pony gov't is incapable of understanding.

What indication was there that trump would welcome them with open arms regardless?

I for one would be curious as to what it was exactly that Freeland said that got Trump upset. I’ve seen excerpts from a few speeches but can’t figure out which words are so hurtful. Please help out a poor old prog.

Hmmm, just about everything her and PM Idiot have said since before the election
has been a backhanded attack on Trump.

The most recent one would be the speech in Germany, you know the
your she had to break off to go rushing back to Washington,
because obviously she had no idea a deal had been done.

Hmm...what exactly don’t you understand about the question
$1:
exactly what Freeland said that got Trump upset

A general statement of “just about everything” isn’t an answer!
Her speech in Germany? Which one? Just tell me what she said that upset everybody.

I'm curious as well. Apparently people thought Trudeau saying that we wouldn't be pushed around was insulting and the cause of all the problems. Not the USA calling us a national security threat though.

You both are looking for the 'one' statement that boohoo hurt Trump's feelings,
so you can spit on it and virtue signal some more.

This PM Dopey fail started before the election.
PM Femnazi will still on his knees kissing the Dem's ass before 2016.

I will simply remind you Trump was much rougher with the Mexicans,
and rather than trying to out virtue signal each other with hurt feelings,
sending official *hugs* to each other, and stoking up some disgusting
'post national state' fake patriotism,
the Mexicans had 55 face to face meetings, and a deal.

Even Vincente Fox said it was a great deal for Mexico.

Oh my God. Ezzie again. I going to need some sort of mind cleanse to get that out of there. If that's all she has done (and I only saw the first 5 min there) my thoughts are all this is just made up. Unless of course your attitude is 'just do what the Americans want and maybe they will let us have a few scraps.' Nope, this has firmly put me in the 'no deal if it's not a good deal' camp. I'm no Liberal, but Trudeau and Freeland have my support here. Thanks for making it all so clear.

They should have stopped being so retarded before the election.
And taken the microphone away from Justine.

Now ?
Best thing for the Lieberals is to walk away, blame it all on Trump, call an election,

and set new debt records for putting you, your children
and grandchildren to pay for all the unemployment that is coming.

None of them can say, they can't fucking form anything other than a simple moronic anti-Trudeau insult.
Trudeau and his team literally played the nice guy, near suck up card early and it got nowhere. Now they make any move that looks like they're standing up for Canada, they literally get threatened.
Trump is total ....Mod Edit *-*-*-*.... in the British definition, a nasty, miserable, unpleasable, must get 100% his way right fucking now sense of the word. Fucking threatens economic destruction in order t get "his deal" before he loses big time in the mid-terms and someone down there gets the guts to put the reigns on the fucker.

No, I could say quite a bit about managing Trump.
But there's no point, damage has already been done.

Freeland is a Fucking Idiot!

Freeland punched the bully in the nose just like he deserved, as was her duty as a Canadian official.

That maybe true but knowing Trump he will punch back harder and knock her straight outa the ballpark.

Watch foe a snap election in the fall if the talks fail.

Lmao “knowing Trump he’ll knock her out of the ballpark” what do you base that on? So far he’s hasn’t knocked anything anywhere!

Canadians easily forget the US Presidents are constitutionally and politically weak, they are not the ‘king of America’. At the end of this, all Trump can really do is ask Congress to approve his plans, he can’t unilaterally order anything. If those plans are to disrupt cross- border trade with Americas largest partner, it is unlikely that even a great and popular president would be successful, let alone Trump who is the most unpopular and disliked president in modern history.

Trump administration is exceptionally weak and incompetent his anti-Canada measures are highly controversial and damaging even to Republican Congressmen and governors and midterm elections are approaching that could very well deal serious damage to Republicans and Trump. Now is the perfect time to punch the bully in the nose and keep punching. Only a gutless appeaser surrender-monkey or anti-Canada traitor would think otherwise.

It's like dealing with some truly twisted mentalities, like they watched the first three and a half seasons of Game of Thrones and came to the conclusion somehow that Joffrey Lannister was actually the hero of the whole story. If Trump was walking in front of them and came to a sudden stop they'd suddenly be tasting the pancakes he had for breakfast from their tongues going so far up his ass.

Nope, just pointing out his complete incompetence.
But go ahead, vote for him.

Anything Freeland said pales in comparison to the thing Trump's thrown our way. Did you guys just forget about that part? Or is it that you hate Trudeau so much you want the whole fucking country to suffer so he does too?

This is weird! Your saying that Trudeau and Freeland have “insulted” Trump and there is NOTHING that can be done about it. Seems to say more about trump than Trudeau.
