Not too proud to say that I watched Hee Haw when I was young.

RIP Roy. :(

Didn't remember that he played in 5 episodes of Beverly Hillbillies.

Alot of people looked down on Hee Haw and claimed it was puerile comedy fit only for the discerning redneck living in some place like Bug Hump Arkansas. But, given the numbers of people who secretly watched it while claiming they didn't shows that there must have been a little bit of country in alot more people than who ever admitted it.

Thanks for the entertainment and RIP Mr. Clark [B-o]

RIP, Roy. Seemed like a pleasant down-home good ol' boy with a good heart. I was watching some old videos of him on YouTube earlier. The guy was actually some kind of a genius with guitar, banjo, and fiddle. Bluegrass isn't my thing but, for lack of a better word, Roy could genuinely shred on those instruments. He was popular cross-spectrum with a lot of the great rock guitarists because of his wild abilities at playing.

I just seen this today, a few minutes ago actually and thought that it deserved some air time. Just in case you never knew how good the man really was at his craft.
