Our Navy is preparing to respond to China's claim of total sovereignty in the Taiwan Strait by sending a fully complemented carrier battle group through a complete transit of the strait this next month. This will be the first such transit of a carrier in that strait in over ten years.

The exercise is ideally going to be timed in such a way as to be augmented by two additional carrier task forces positioned east of Taiwan to provide up to 170 aircraft for additional air cover.

China has threatened to sink one or two of our carriers and President Trump and the United States Navy are going to see if they have the balls to make good on that threat.

With all 30 million of us, both those actions would have about the same effect.
