It might be a major legal victory but, for his career and reputation there'd always be the question of whether he really did what the cabal of evil claimed.

Talk about cowardly acts. The gov't spent three years fighting his defense team and trying to ensure a positive outcome for themselves but, when one honest man says he's going to testify they panic and drop the charges hoping that it'll all blow over before the next election.

It' also a pretty good indicator of how much truth there was in their initial accusation and campaign to smear Admiral Norman isn't it. He was their scapegoat and unfortunately he didn't go quietly like they wanted and hoped for.

So, IMO the best thing that could happen would be for him to forget the blood money the Liberals are going to offer him and demand his day in court. Then, when he's found not guilty and exonerated of all their false accusations he could then sue the PM, the Former Attorney General and the Minister of National Defense for defamation of character and ruin their names and careers like they attempted to do to his.

Amen to that. Adm. Norman is a courageous member of the Canadian "Forces" that actually cared about getting the equipment we need.

Trudeau and his merry band of traitors deserve to be removed from office and prosecuted.

Public Prosecution Service pressured to drop the case? No, can't be...

Wait a minute, where have I heard of that happening before?

Hate to say but this is typical of governments these days to cover their fuckups by trying to make someone else take the heat.

$1:
RCMP investigators say they’re not sure why the Mark Norman case collapsed because they haven’t seen the new evidence that led to the stay of a breach-of-trust charge against the naval officer.

The Mounties also suggested that former Conservative ministers — a possible source of the fresh evidence given to defence counsel could have come to the RCMP with the information at any time.

In an interview Tuesday with The Canadian Press, two RCMP officers involved with the Norman probe emphasized the importance of independence in their work, even as opposition MPs continued to accuse the Trudeau government of orchestrating the investigation.

“We follow the evidence and we seek the truth,” said Supt. Mike MacLean, criminal operations officer for the RCMP’s national division.

WTF....During an investigation shouldn't the RCMP....wait for it... INVESTIGATE all possibilities, not sit on their fat asses waiting foe evidence to drop in there laps.

Enough with your crazy talk. It is not the RCMP's job to "investigate". They exist solely to assign blame and to intimidate political foes.

Canada's Dear Leader was invested in a shady land deal where the people connected to it have been mysteriously dying? [popcorn]
