Ok first off a basic fact check: the Nazis didn’t take guns, in fact they slightly relaxed gun laws.
Yes and no. "Good" German citizens got slightly relaxed gun laws while the Jews and enemies of the state had their guns confiscated.

But to be fair, the Democrats are going one step farther because and want "all" private guns banned although, that might just be because they can't rely on "good" Americans to follow the party line and carry out their will like the Nazi's did.
