And neither tide nor weather had anything to do with global warming.

Same moon phase
Same tidal scheduling
Same winds blowing South to North

What would be surprising is the tide levels suddenly dropping.

Of course, now another coastal city like Florence is being threatened by the rising tide water of the oceans. Because 3 weeks of rain has put the ocean right up to the Duomo.

But as we know weather becomes climate, as in "climate change" when a global warming alarmist notices bad weather.

"Paleoclimate evidence shows there is little to no link between atmospheric CO2 concentration and relative sea level."

So, explain why the sea level and carbon dioxide levels were so low during the last ice age.

it was an ice age, most of NA was covered in 1000' of ice, that ice has to come from somewhere....so of course sea levels were much lower..as the ice melted sea level rose.

So did CO2 levels, disproving your obvious propaganda.

Aren't you taking sides in a chicken or the egg argument though?

A confluence of forces are at play. Studies show Temperature increase precedes CO2 increase rather than the other way around. True, there is a SS blog type argument that says then the CO2 effect clicks in and then 'boy oh boy, howdy' then you really see something, but really we're just doing chicken or the egg.

Then there's the albedo from the reflectivity of ice and snow. Ocean sinks and release of CO2 in cold and hot. Burying of CO2 in decreased plant and animal life. Do we have the accuracy of data to show us which came first? Cold or CO2, decrease. Warm or C02 increase. Show us, Doctor Data. I'm not sure what you're talking about.
