So to summarize. This paper claims
"This means that the warming effect of CO2would be between 1.8C/2 = 0.9Cor 1.8C/3 = 0.6C"
Which changes what? Assuming this lone paper is accurate, it means CO2 is responsible for half of the observed warming. Meaning other greenhouse gases such as HFC-23, methane etc, all produced through industrial processes that rely on fossil fuels, possibliy cause even more warming.
So the end effect is, the Earth is still heating at the same rate no matter how you slice it, and CO2 is the primary culprit, even with these calculations.

I'd have no problem with a warmer world, if it didn't mean losing every piece of land within 100km of the water, and desertification of much of the remaining tropics.
