Its a start. Recall though that those who oppose guns truly believe that it will have an overall positive effect on society.

The damage is being done now by drugs of all types regardless of its legal status. The only real question is "will legalization" make use increase?

I say no.

I would love to hear peoples opinions about privacy in this case...

I would love to comment, but all I get is a blank screen where a story should be.

'Tis a blog, so link was deleted. I believe this is what uwish posted:

Thanks Hurley.

Yes, a blog about another non issue. I wouldn't answer the question either, if I weren't already one of the 170,000 Canadians who refused to register in 1995 and became paper criminals for doing nothing whatsoever.

I think 'initially' there may be some increased usage but once the 'shock' wares off and it becomes part of life I agree. I do not think there would be any significant increase in usage.

I guess until it happens it would be difficult to measure.

Decrease to smoking came about largely though education of youth. In fact education has alway been shown to be the most effective method. Makings things illegal just makes it more enticing to teens.

You can get an update on his court case here:

Looks like he isn't the only one. This is the REAL problem with C-68, still believe registration doesn't lead to confiscation?
