See, I'm not the only one who thinks that it's flawed!

In the immortal words of Gomer Pyle:

"Suprise, Suprise"

Who'd ever think the CBC would do anything flawed or Partisan?

Not convinced.

I don't blame the survey tool but rather the luke-warm platforms provided by the parties themselves. Simply put there isn't that much depth to any of them so unless it's a key issue with stark contrasts they are all going to look the same.

To 'fix' this would require more questions to be added that are in direct response to the party platforms as they announce them but that means the test sample would need to be thrown out every day as the election progresses. I don't see that as very feasable.

Well, her method wasn't very scientific. Even I can see if you answer every question the same, you're probably going to end up right in the middle.

If you click on each of the parties and go through their questions you'll see that they're using two different standards when it comes to where they are placing the parties. Liberals seem to be scored on their current policies where as the Conservatives are being scored on a more stereotypical view of what they stand for as opposed to what’s in their current platform. At least in my view that’s what’s happening.
