Just for the record, countries such as Russia, China, Cuba that are labelled communist are not really communist at all. True communist is total equality, and all of those countries have some form of economic disparity.

As far as the NDP & Liberals.. no, always voted for either in Canada. But recently Liberals have moved more right, making NDP the choice.

Always thought the NDP did well in BC, never saw homeless on the streets of Vancouver until the Liberals came to power.

Once again, I may vote for them, but I don't agree with all of thier policies 100%.

No the NDP didn't do well here. Both mining and forestry were in the crapper, and that is the backbone of our economy. The only complaint I have against the Liberals is the useless carbon tax. Under the BC Liberals jobs are up, debt is down and so are the taxes.

The US Military needs a little gutting. It's almost become a fourth order of government, eats up an obscene portion of US Taxpayer's money, and is an entity unto itself.

The US spends more on defence than the rest of the world combined. In the 1950's, they exported refrigerators and automobiles. Now their biggest export is soldiers. That's a society that's lost the ability to sell its ideals.

Being that I get the honor of voting in both elections, I vote for who I think has the best policies at the time for the country.
