sandorski: Even with a full understanding of the Universe, the god concept is such that I am sure many will still accept it as fact. The numbbers who do would fall dramatically by then though.
Unsound: I don't think it's possible to prove a negative. Even if science found an explanation for all the "mysteries" that are currently credited to God, someone will always be able to say Why?
Why do the laws of physics work the way they do? Because God set them up that way. And so on.
