In the past, the Arctic summer saw only the coast guard and supply ships travel north to help remote communities stock up for the winter. Now, there are sailboats, motor yachts and cruise ships of all shapes and sizes.
We really need to get our asses and get ships up there to patrol and excercise our sovereignity
over the area.
And get trade routes set up.
And the oil, before the Russians get it.

Well, that wiould require the right wing to admit that the ice is receding. That may be a while. Like when it's gone.
