A military submarine was spotted traversing Canadian waters in the Strait of Juan de Fuca, just off the Race Rocks Ecological Reserve, southwest of the city.
Duh. Wouldn't possibly be a US sub from Bremerton, would it? Gotta be the Chinese distracting us while they tunnel through the center of the Earth and invade through Billy's sandbox.
Victoria Class SSK's look British. Our Hydroplanes are on the Hull, not the Sail. On the imaged sub the Hydroplanes are on the sail. Therefore, the Sub is not Canadian. Judging from the fact the pacific "fleet" did not deploy to track it down, its safe to say, its American.
(CTV stories don't load for me, because I won't run their scripts)

Figgeritout.
It's a Trident (Ohio) Class. Russian/Chinese sails are further back on the hull and larger/ more rounded. I was being facetious.

Oh, I've figured it out.
Effing soviet subs are getting bold.
Can't be Russian.
There isn't a trail of radioactive waste and dead bodies in it's wake.
My guess given the profile is that it's a Sea Wolf Fast Attack Class sub probably coming out of Bremerton.

A sub in the water, it isn't one of ours.
RIP Sailor, I wish I had bought one of your ship drawings.
Well, we can be sure of one thing:
A sub in the water, it isn't one of ours.
But the Canadian subs have much nicer screen doors!
