This one has been bugging me all day. I don't know who to root for. On one hand, you shouldn't be turning a political argument into murder. On the other hand, you also shouldn't be threatening to murder judges.

Play with fire, get burned. Pretty simple I think. I am amazed more armed nut jobs haven't killed more judges at this point. Clearly that isn't the solution but it is a symptom of a larger sickness.

He wasn't the only Judge targeted either

It's pretty cut and dried to me.

Throw the book at this asshat and let him prove how tough he is when he's unarmed in a federal prison instead of threatening an old man with a gun.

Shooting. Public. Officials. Is. Always. Wrong.

Of course it is wrong. But if that public official is threatening the safety of women and children, and lied on his application for a life appointment to the job where he is supposed to protect people from the government and uphold the Constitution; what other recourse does a person see that they have? IIRC the only way for a Supreme Court justice to be removed, is to be impeached by the rest of the Supreme Court. And many of them are no different than him.

Like I wrote, I don't know who to root for.

Yeah I’m with Doc on this one don’t really know who to root for. The fact that he used fraud to get the appointment should be accounted for. There really should be away to remove them in that case.

Irrespective of the public official involved, this is appalling, an attack on the rule of law. Picketing politicians outside their homes is part of the same reprehensible trend.
