Isn't one of the basic ethics of hunting to actually eat or otherwise use whatever it is you kill? If you kill a deer or a moose, either eat the meat yourself or sell it to someone who sells game meats. There's at least one shop here in St. Albert that sold them.
So yeah, just like the guy who shot Cecil the lion, not much sympathy from me.
If those hunters really want to impress us, they should practice catch and release... even better would be to take a selfie with the animal and forget the gun completely.
