"Justice" involves a fair trial. Many people confuse justice with vengeance.

As always I’m conflicted about this sort of thing.

On the one hand, fuck that guy and I hope he had just enough warning to realize his explosive end was at hand. But on the other, I really despise these kind of extra-judicial killings.

Wish Bart was here for this one. He rightly loved it whenever one of these big name Sept 11 fuckers finally got their scalp collected.

Two hellfire missiles on a balcony have nothing to do with justice. This is the US doing what no other nation is allowed to do. Executing counter insurgents in the open.

The intended message here is no where on earth are you safe from US retaliation. The reality is that such actions are only cutting the head of a hydra. Now they have a martyr. Such is the cost of empire.

And Hellfire missiles don't confine their effects to the individual in question. No one seems to be talking about any other people who were removed from Kabul unintentionally.

And I bet they didn't get any intelligence related to this at all from anyone in Guantanamo for the last 20 years.

I'm not saying this guy didn't bring this on himself. But there are many others who have done nothing who end up paying anyhow. This is also exactly the kind of unilateral action by the US that groups like Al Queida are fighting against. Where does it end?

I'm curious how they killed the guy, who was on a balcony outdoors, with 2 hellfire missiles - and nobody else got hurt. Hmmm. Did they not explode, and they used blunt force impact?
