Canadian worker taken hostage by rebels in Sudan *

Two foreign workers, a Canadian and an Iraqi, have been abducted by rebels following an attack on an oil field in Sudan. The Justice and Equality Movement (JEM), one of Darfur's strongest rebel groups, said it attacked the Defra oil field in the Kord
