The news is not good for Oilers captain Ethan Moreau, who will be out for the rest of the season after breaking his ankle late in Sunday's game against the Colorado Avalanche.

Man how do you break an ankle by just gliding backwards and hit the boards with your ass. Someone or something is working real hard to get Burke the #1 draft pick. Could it be karma, Kev ? lol

This will be Brian Burke on draft day.

First of all I'd like to thank the Ottawa Senators for hosting the 2008 NHL Draft.

Secondly I'd like to thank the Edmonton Oilers, especially Kevin Lowe, for if it wasn't for him I would not be standing here at this time. :D

    ROTFL

The Anaheim Ducks select first over all Steven Stamkos.
