Could this be the beginning of a more comfy relationship between Canadians and the Republican Party?

And what about Obama he is not yelling about NAFTA too. They are lying to the unions and then they are gonna dump them once they are in.

Obama got the endorsement from the Teamsters cause he said he would go against NAFTA.

The CBC is to busy talking about the "alleged bribery" to catch this story

As mentioned this threat to renegotiate NAFTA is just political bribery to suck up to the unions while the economy is in the dumpster.Same thing happens on the North side of the 49.

Yes, the Dems are lying to their base. There's no way they will opt out of NAFTA nor will there be significant changes.

    Props to McCain.

Nice to see all the liberals on CKA commenting on this one. They must save up all their energy only for commenting on when some dunderhead in the US says something bad about Canada.

agree this kind of stuff happens in politics , sometimes things are said just to get votes and it appears this is one of them . only thing is the democrats got caught before election has even happened .

Then why hasent the mainstream media even looked into this. Maybe they are to busy starting false claims about John Mccains love life?

It's funny to reflect that while the Republicans keep moving along, the Dems are fighting themselves, tooth & nail, and everyone that gets in between. To tear NAFTA down now would be ignorant but the Dems will promise anything to anyone.
It's damned good to see a potential American president say such good things about Canada.

Tuesday will be revealing. Everybody will know that the Empress has no clothes. But will she? Will she do the Romney and toss in the towel or continue to dook it out with Obama?

agree tuesday could be a turning point in the race , but i doubt she will drop out as long as she wins 1 big state and close in the others . but anything is possible .

I don't think McCain should be using the Afghan deployment as a way to debate this NAFTA issue, we're in Afghanistan because we want to and are fighting for ourselves, not for their cause.

he should bring up the economical advantages like oil, natural resources and labour issues first, those are the things Canadians would complain about if NAFTA were reviewed, not the war.

I agree with the point he's making, just not the way he's bringing it up, but on that note, I disagree with Obama and Clinton and the rhetoric they are spitting out, it's a lie to the American voters no matter how they spin it
