British Columbia will be the first Canadian province to pay for acupuncture with public health insurance money, the province's health minister announced on Sunday.

    This is rediculous. As of a few years ago BC won't cover basic eye exams for teens and adults but now they are going to cover acupuncture. Another great idea brought to you by the Liberal party.

    They cover most of eye exams don't they? Or is that just my work insurance that does?

    I haven't tried acupuncture, but I'd like to. Massages are covered aren't they, at least 12 per year? They are similar.

    Probably your private insurance, MSP doesn't cover eye exams for anyone but children I think.
