We get what we deserve, if we commit to something. We should act on it, if we diddn't succeed it then we failed our agreement. Though I don't really understand why so many people (On that website) are bitching so much about a investigation... Its just to check where our emissions are at. It's not like there checking us for WMD's or breaking into every Canadian's homes looking for pot.

IMO Kyoto like the UN was made for a very good cause. Let's hope they stay with it, and don't get lost on there way to there goals like the UN sort of has.

The USA doesn't look so silly for not participating in this farce now, do we?

Then why not just surrender Canadian sovereignty to the tyrants in the General Assembly? They're such brilliant leaders, after all. Look how well they've done in Somalia, Kosovo, Rwanda, and Darfur. Just imagine what a paradise they could make of Canada!

The USA has done even better than Canada at reducing emissions...how did they manage that without signing a piece of magic paper?

Really, so allowing a organization that is meant to get the world more cleaner by getting countries to straighten there act to investigate us to see where our emissions are at is getting rid of Canada's sovereignty how? Oh noes the evil Kyoto organization is coming after us, they are going to take over Canada and eat our babies!

"A national registry is a computerized system used to track holdings of greenhouse gas credits, similar to the computerized accounting system of a bank," the enforcement branch explained in a statement posted on Tuesday.

    The KYOTO committee wants money.

Make a public declaration of non-compliance

Wow that will hurt.....HAHAHA HEE HEE HAW HAW HAHAHA HEE HEE HAW HAW
Require it to submit an action plan within three months for getting back into compliance
    Much fear....OOOWWWWWWW
Suspend it from participating in any of Kyoto's emissions credits or carbon trading mechanisms
Not being allowed to pay extortion is a big inconvenience.
A country that misses its first Kyoto reduction target has 100 days to become compliant by buying emissions credits.
If it still isn't in compliance after that period, the difference will be tacked onto its target in the successor treaty plus a 30 per cent penalty. Such a country is also suspended from trading in emissions credits and must submit a action plan within three months on how it will meet its second commitment period targets.

This committee if it enters Canada should be greeted appropriately----with a guard armed with leatherguns loaded with catshit and pepper. While committee readies the tar and feathers.

    Give it up.
You guys set you're hair on fire when private candy manufacturers agree to change their product lable to work in Canada and America. I'm sure making car turn signals yellow instead of amber would have all you little north-nazis out protesting in the streets that GWB is taking over.

The UN can come and bite my shiny metal ass. Send Maurice Strong directly from his palace in China to talk strategy with Dion and be sure to tell the press so the US and UN can arrest him for his oil for food crimes.
