As expected, the Ottawa Senators have parted ways with Ray Emery, placing the goaltender on waivers.

It was only a matter of time. If someone signs him they're off the hook for more too.

What a sad day in Sens history

Wonder who's going to give him another chance. I wouldn't be surprised if he's not in the NHL next year, but has to play one year in Siberia, and back in the NHL for the 2009-10 season.
