They are now claiming that she committed suicide. The RCMP are saying that the responding officer cut a cord that was around her neck.
Then my question is where did she get the cord to tie around her neck?

Yep they do...but a drawstring can be hard to see....

She was in the tank, probably wearing the same clothes she went in with...if she had a drawstring on any of her clothes that could easily be used.
Here they have to remove shoelaces, drawstrings etc. Gawd knows I watched my friend put her shoelaces etc back in, more times than I care to remember, when I bailed her out.
They take shoes and belts but I doubt they'd take sweat pants or drawstrings but I bet that depends on the "impression" you make with you'ree guards. Mine just told me to shut the fuck up, so I doubt they thought I was a hanger.
Where else are you going to go? Not all of us are natives and get dumped in frozen alleys to die, you know.

I wish I knew it from prison movie, truly I do. Never heard about them taking sweat pants no. It's routine shoelaces, belts, drawstrings. Of course it's always great to bail them when they have been in the same clothes for three days.
Yep I was told to shut the fuck, have a good sleep...they only took my shoes...didnt even really pat me down. I was wearing a hoody as well....tie up neck...they never took that cuz i didnt present as suicidal...homicidal maybe but not suicidal....Yep Tequila is not my friend

That could be it. She never did manage to get thrown in for anything as simple as a drunk and disorderly. Always seemed to be a Friday so she was held over till Monday.
Oh yeah always a full search, didn't get sweats though. She was just lovely when I bailed her.
