A motorist who killed a cyclist with her car door as he rode along a Toronto street is facing a charge that carries the same $110 fine riders face for not having a bell on their bike.
Manslaughter charge is more in tune. The lady needs to spend a few years behind bars, and see how attentive she becomes among the prison population.
As an avid cyclist I can agree with the statement by

I wonder what the charges would be if a child stepped out from between 2 cars and was killed by the cyclist? The driver is careless but ultimately, it's the one in motion who should not be hitting things.
