    "door prize" LOL

Manslaughter charge is more in tune. The lady needs to spend a few years behind bars, and see how attentive she becomes among the prison population.

As an avid cyclist I can agree with the statement by

Eleanor McMahon, whose husband Greg Stobbart was killed while biking when he was run off the road by a truck in 2006, believes "better laws" are the answer. "You really can't blame the police here," she said. "We need to look at beefing up the Highway Traffic Act."
The police can only act as the law allows them to.

I'll bet if she had of been standing on the road just outside of her car and the cyclists had struck and killed her, he would be in the can.

I wonder what the charges would be if a child stepped out from between 2 cars and was killed by the cyclist? The driver is careless but ultimately, it's the one in motion who should not be hitting things.

That's a pretty strict sentence in Canada.
