From a shoppers perspective, this is great news. From a retailers perspective... i am VERY worried.

Well, I'm not sure about anyone else but I'm going shopping. Need some new duds and if I happen to bring home a new plasma tv in the process I can all ways justify it to the hunny with the old "I'm actually saving us money!!" excuse. Seems to work for her. :D

Buy it while you can. I can't imagine these prices will stay low for long considering the sinking of the dollar.

I think the problems are much deeper than a couple of points
    on the dollar.

The country of Hungary is working on a bail out package from the IMF.

Thats an EU member, the first and wont be the last.

This Christmas will suck overall, worldwide..

If i were a retailer, I would be really worried.
There are a lot of retailers where the difference between making
monay and closing the doors is Christmas....

It just means that retailers are screwing us for a little less than they are used to!
