Unfortunately there hasn't been much to cheer for this early in the season. Maybe this is a sign of good things to come. 8)

I’ve always found that the really good teams only get off to a half ass start. The teams to worry about dropping like a rock are the teams with so-so talent and are doing very well now. About 8 years ago Phoenix was flying high and didn’t lose a home game till around New Years………then didn’t even make the playoffs that year.

That game was horrible...welcome to Boston the kings of the most blatant trap in NHL history. We wait for Boston to come to town and they play the trap...fucking boring team, what a major letdown.

    **Edit: Thomas played excellent though

Says a fan of the losing team!

Actually, I agree. The Bruins tend to play a rather sleep-inducing brand of hockey, but if it puts a "W" on the board I can live with it.

It wouldnt matter if we got the win...A boring game is a boring game period. I like alot more action. And the Nucks got sucked into the trap...idiots

I agree with the boring game part, but until the Bruins ownership takes a crowbar to their wallet and gets some more star quality players, trapping is what will win games now.

I hear ya...I think the Nucks ownership should take a crowbar to some of our bench  There is no bloody reason for us to be playing hot cold. We should also be talking to Gaborik, the organization has 10 mil sitting and collecting dust.

With the talent Vancouver has, they should definitely be doing better than they are.

Remember Edmonton last season? They were in first place inthe NW for most of November, and then pissed it away by Valentine's Day. Despite a heroic effort, they too missed the playoffs last year.

But the best melt down last year had to be Ottawas. Amazing run at the start of the season only to make an equally amazing first round disappearing act!
