Researchers have mapped the mitochondrial genome of one of the world's oldest mummies, discovering in the process a genetic lineage that does not match any of those known to exist today.

    I'm sure somewhere there is some 35 year old hasn't-gotten-laid-since-Clinton-was-president geneticist who finds this story absolutely titilating.

    I thought all humans originally came from Africa? If this is the oldest human being found in Italy.
