Israel is considering suspending its offensive on Hamas-ruled Gaza for 48 hours to give Hamas militants an opening to halt their rocket fire, but the threat of a ground offensive remains if the truce does not hold, Israeli officials said Tuesday.

    Go Ahead and give them a ceasefire, we all know it wont last. Unfortunatly, this conflict will never end.

    The only end I see is when one side or the other is wiped out. They have been fighting longer than I have been alive

    Oh same here, but eventualy something horrible will happen and both sides will find some way to end it, for a while at least.
