Excellent. He'll make Whoreper look like an anachronistic, neo-con has-been.

Calm down there. Sounds like youre going to pee yourself in excitement.

Just stating facts, ride. Who are Harper's role models, after all? The G.O.P. - especially its neo-con element, which is now almost universally denounced.

Have you looked at Harper at all? During the American election he stated many times that he was studying how Obama got elected. Plus, if you look at this budge and what Obama has been doing you will find many similarities. He is more like Obama than Bush.

Streaker: you're missing the point that a US Democrat is still more right wing than Harper with a majority. You can play up the association all you like but it only works with fools.

It's just too bad Count Chocula and Taliban Jack won't have an oportunity to prostrate themselves before the grand lefty poo-bah. I guess they'll just have to stand at the side of the road with their "I heart Obama" shirts.

He has no choice but to put a little water in his wine: He has a minority.

Harper is well to the right of Obama.

Not a chance Streaker. Any Canadian Conservative makes a Democrat look like Hitler. The definitions of CDN left/right are alot different then US left/right.

In the Canadian scheme of things Obama would be pretty much in the centre. Harper is way to the right.

Not when you consider Obama's views on abortion, foreign policy, guns, gay marriage etc there is no way that he is centre.
