And holy crap do my higher ups have their panties in a knot. I've got requests for the past two days for proof of execution of patches that I was asked for proof of execution back in November which I confirmed in October.

It's times like this I love being a MAC user. If this is real or just a hoax. It doesn't matter in the slightest to me.

Word is that if your using a reputable anti-Virus that has been updated in like the last month or so you should be ok. If anyone is worried just get the Norton or McAfee tool to keep yourself protected.
Personally I think it's a big Hoax to the world, 15 year old hackers and computer whizes have a great sence of humor

Well if they have a copy of this virus, surely them must have ran it on a closed system to see what it would do wouldn't they?

I'm really not worried, at worst, I email my novels to myself in a safety guarantee and I make sure I don't go on any bullshit sites.

It's not bullshit,if your wondering if your safe then do an anti virus update,the first thing it will do is dis able your ability to update or even visit your anti virus site for an update.

If you cant update then you got problem's.
