Suzuki sold out in an attempt to get HIS OPINION circulating. An opinion about climate change that is very much open for debate.

Shouldn't this have - OPINION tacked on? The Sun categorizes LORRIE GOLDSTEIN as a columnist in the Comment (translation - Editorials) section, not a reporter.

While climate change is real and serious, Pope states: "News headlines vie for attention and it is easy for scientists to grab this attention by linking climate change to the latest extreme weather event or apocalyptic prediction. But in so doing, the public perception of climate change can be distorted. The reality is that extreme weather events arise when natural variations in the weather and climate combine with long-term climate change ... Overplaying natural variations in the weather as climate change is just as much a distortion of the science as underplaying them to claim climate change has stopped or is not happening."
