Stumbled upon them after there ATV ran out of gas eh. Talk about lucky.
I wonder if the Gas they just used up came from that particular Fossil? Would be creepy.

holy buffalo crap...school's out is it? Walking with mammals is an interesting series, beginning at the Eocene and tracing nature's experiments.
"Walking with Beasts"?
I found the BBC site and noticed an evolution game - it doesn't work but this is the description: "The world is changing. You'll have to adapt if you want to survive. Play the evolution game and see if you can last until the present day."
Evolution is not about organisms making some sort of effort to adapt to their environment, it's about traits that the animal has making it more likely that it reproduces.
With poor attempts like that (and others like Spore) to incorporate evolution into a game format, it's no wonder people like diddlejack are often confused about what evolution really is.
