I've always been a Habs fan whether good or bad. That will never change. Now its time to cheer for the Wings though.

Congrats Bruins, maybe you can pick up Carey Price in the off season, Habs fans don't seem to want him.. I think a couple years of tutoring under Mr Thomas would be good for him and he'd be ready to step up when the tool man retires.

Yeah, apparently Michael Ryder was not good enough to play there either lol

Price will want to be traded, and I can see it in 5 years from now, he`ll help a team get to the finals. Nobody wants to play in Montreal anymore. Why have all the stress when you can play elsewhere, make money and play like you want.

The sweep can be contributed to a number of factors.
    1. Boston is a bigger, tougher team
    2. Bostons "skilled" players performed, Montreals didn't
    3. Boston had no real injuries, Montreal had a few
    4. Boston played a much more disciplined game than the Habs spoiled brats(think Komiserak)

The Habs can now book a tee-time with the Leafs and think about all the free agents they are going to lose! 8O

But on on up-note, maybe Celine Dion or her pedophile husband will buy the team! 8O

The Habs also have way too many players who come from countries where using soap while bathing is still optional. Detroit's current lineup is about the only one I can think of where a team with a majority of non-North American players on it has stood up and proved themselves winners. Montreal's shown again that, almost always, when you load up on Europeans (especially Russians) that they invariably behave like a cancer and drag the entire team down with them.

Not that the dumbass Habs fans or Montreal media'll let them but their next five years of first and second round draft picks should all come from the OHL and WHL. Montreal'll never win another Cup again if all they worry about is loading up on French names and non-Anglais Eurotrash just to keep the local sovereignist rabble-rouser English-haters happy.

Gotta speak truth to power, man. Montreal is clearly stuck in a crazy market where they let local politics and cultural weirdness dictate how the team is run. Montreal's about the only place I could think of where they would have lynched Wayne Gretzky just because he couldn't speak French.
