"What we are saying to people is that we need to recognize (the film) is a piece of fiction. ... It's a movie that is taking some places that are real and some people that may have existed, but it's taking the facts and skewing them to make it an entertaining film,"

I read a book much like this once.

The latest shot of gasoline to go on the growing bonfire comes from the U.K.'s Guardian newspaper, which reported that Howard operatives, posing as tourists, shot voluminous amounts of picture and film inside the Vatican – to get around the church's refusal to film there – and used the material to digitally recreate several papal buildings for the film.

    Now that's utterly brilliant!

    Great.

The world’s richest superstition passing judgement.

Yes, I'm going to the theatre to see it.

Sight unseen? Two stars and another underwhelming performance from Tom Hanks. And I'm not Catholic; just caustic. :D

Most of the movies I've enjoyed the most usually got the worst reviews. Either I have no taste, or learning that taste is subjective is a good thing.
