English language to hit one million words

According to the Global Language Monitor, a group that tracks new additions to the lexicon, it will hit one million words at 5:22 a.m. ET on June 10.

be glad this is our mother-tongue... it's hard as hell to pick up as a non-native speaker!

but there's still that innate knowledge you've attainted... I spent 4 years in Eastern Europe teaching it to execs, and having to explain why we break all of our own "rules" in the language made them exasperated to say the least... but it was quite enjoyable!
