18 Taliban killed in western Afghanistan fighting

KABUL -- Afghan and NATO troops killed 18 Taliban militants Sunday after insurgents attacked a joint patrol, while four police were killed in a separate militant ambush, officials said.

    As General Patton said "No won a war by dying for his country, he won it by making the other poor dumb bastard die for his country". I do regret the civilian dead.
