It's about time. Johnson's voice was blown out after "..For Those About to Rock". Since then, he's sounded TERRIBLE. Then Angus fell in love with that 'mosquito'-lick (Fly on the Wall, Thunderstruck, Who Made Who, etc, etc, etc). Now their new record is just pop-fluff. A great live band and lot of fun, sure, but they haven't produced anything fresh in 20 years and Johnson's voice has become painful to listen to. Sad but true.
No way, dude, I'm a HUGE fan of AC/DC. Back in Black is a top-5 album all-time, and my band has done more than 20 AC/DC tunes over the years. But sometimes when you think someone is washed up, they're WASHED UP.
Say it aint so......Saw them in January and it was by far one of the best concerts I've seen. If this is true, Rock and roll is losing one of its great singers and one of its greatest bands.
Johnson can rock, but I think his voice is starting to go. Saw AC/DC twice in Toronto. Angus and the others are fine, but a new lead singer would not hurt the band if they feel they want to continue.
I can listen to Jail Break or Thunderstruck with equal enjoyment.
They are playing Moncton this week. Kinda wish I had gotten a ticket now, but I hate outdoor concerts.
Burn the unbeliever.
He's just upset he doesnt have tics or get to go see them with me
