A year after Prime Minister Stephen Harper prorogued Parliament to avoid a no-confidence vote, in his year-end media interviews he isn't ruling out doing it again
This is such BS crap from the CBC again. Harper didn't rule out taking all the MPs to Disneyland for Christmas either.
There's no reason for the Conservatives to porogue again because the Liberals don't have the guts to take down the government. Their also not likely to want to kill their own bills again.
You have to love it eh? harper... a little big man autocrat.. when the game gets rough he takes his toys and goes home... if he pulls this shit again it won't go well for him ...

You are so right, its bull crap.. its because of the negative press over the Afghan prisoners being tortured and he denied it. but as we all know he and McKay are lying.. so he wants to shut the business of the country down again. I read the NDP are gaining big time from the weak liberals and the autocrat tory..

Weeeell, the suggestion seemes to be that proroguing parliament will give him the opportunity to fiddle with the Liberal domninated senate. He may lose his bills now, but he could introduce them into a more freidnly senate which could ultmately speed them up.
Mind you, I'd be surprised if he did it.
That being said, are you on record right now saying it'd be a bad move or will you be backpeddling like mad on the off chance it happens?
