A judge held two hearings Thursday, in a courtroom packed with top Arizona officials and spectators, on whether the state's new immigration law should take effect amid a flurry of legal challenges against the crackdown.
Seems the judge is balking at the notion that the Arizona law is unConstitutional. Makes me wonder if this lawsuit is not going to work out the way Obama wants it to.
Yeah, this entire thing is silly. The federal government is going after a state that has passed a law that MATCHES federal law, and yet won't go after cities that violate federal law (sanctuary cities).
Maybe they can to enforce the laws like they pretend to do security by harrassing Canucks at the border. Run around all those trailer parks and hunt down illegal snowbirds. They don't make you run after them like Mexicans do.
