Political Correctness gone wild. We had a draw Mohammed day. Do we need to have 'photograph a Moslem in a public street day' to protect your rights?

Sounds like a good idea GT.

    Wow, "journalism" at it's best.........

Ok. QBC, what about the journalism are you criticizing? It was a witnessed assault which was ignored by the police due to fears of upsetting the cry-baby Muslims. Hate the message, not the messenger.

Unfortunately in this case the messenger detracts from the message. But if it went down as presented it's a travesty.

How so? He was just describing the assault on him. Was it not delivered in a manner to accommodate all your sensitivities?

Well we know they're not above overstating a case. Who knows how true this story is.

    and if you're a cop, don't arrest a Muslim.

There is only one real way to respond to this: Borrowing on the success of The Draw Mohammed Day we need to have a 'Photograph a moslem in a Public Street Day'.

Go to a major square on a weekend evening any photograph a number of people, but be sure to photograph folks in Islamic religious garb who are in a major public square.

Don't be intrusive, just take up photography for a day. This may seem like an overreaction but if we are going to tolerate load mouth thugs telling us when we are allowed or not allowed to exercise rights we have enjoyed for decades we may lose these rights under the guise of Political Correctness.
