"Curtman" said Hooray for the CRTC! It's nice to see a branch of the government stand up for consumers instead of big business. It's very rare in these Harper times.
Oh for sure, cuz as we all know the CRTC always put the consumer's interest over that of the telecoms during 13 years of Liberal rule.

The CRTC were the same assholes who attempted to justify UBB. Yeah.
"The bottom line is that you as a consumer will not face a cap or limitation of use because of anything mandated by the CRTC. Any kind of cap or limit, payment per use, that you will have to pay is because your ISP decides to charge you, not because we mandate it."
The decison may not be as hard on Bell as the headlines suggest. Bell cannot charge a premium for bandwidth, but the independents will have to purchase additional capacity if their client base or usage grows. Looks like another way for Bell to upcharge or obtain new rates for the increased capacity. I did not hear of any independants jumping up and down for joy on this decision.

The CRTC were the same assholes who attempted to justify UBB. Yeah. Ya he forgot about that. And the fact that the Conservatives told them to reverse their decision.
