Americans should be thankful for Canada

The headline in Canada’s national magazine, Maclean’s, is an attention-grabber: “The U.S. and Canada: we used to be friends.” Followed by this subheadline: “Why Barack Obama shelved the Keystone pipeline, and insulted Canada (yet again) in the process.”

    Nice find +1

In fairness though, we should be thankful of each other. Because of our friendly relationship, both countries have blossomed. Had our relationship been more adversarial, both countries would likely be worse off than they are now.

Can you imagine if we'd had to spend the last 200 years seriously defending that border? Expensive...

I'd say we are, but is Bill Mann Canadian? It would be weird to have someone approach me and say "You should be thankful for me!"

Happy Thanksgiving to all our southern neighbors. Canadians, at least those with a hint of American politics, realize that decisions made by your gov are in no way a reflection of what the American people think about Canada. Have a good weekend and hope you enjoy the game.

    +1.

And if you don't enjoy the game, at least enjoy the halftime show.

Its not about patience but about the money and its own special interest groups aka oil companies, Harper pandering.
