As I've said several times, The US thinks they won the War because they got Maine.
We think Canada won the war because the US got Maine.

Lots'a French in Maine still, and yet you don't hear them bitching about how "awful" it is living in an English language country.

If we yanks won the war of 1812 we might have forced you to take Puerto Rico, we would keep Hawaii.
