Canada's Conservative environment minister said Monday that signing the Kyoto Protocol on climate change was one of the previous government's biggest "blunders" but he declined to confirm a report that Canada will formally pull out of the treaty.

Make me proud Kent, rip up the "wealth redistribution scam" (aka Kyoto) in front of the entire audience at Durban.

I say it's about time to shoot this Liberal feel-good boondoggle in the head and finally put it to rest.

They don't even have the guts to tell Canadians they've sold out to big oil. Shame. The green shift was a good solution to meet our Kyoto comittments. If we make it cost big oil to pollute, they'll find a way to reduce emissions. The cons have no plan, so they'll just tear up the agreement and be silent while the arctic ice disappears.

Exactly what did the Liberal party do to meet Kyoto?

Other than Dion naming his dog Kyoto. 8)

At least read the whole comment before the partisan hackery response. The Green Shift was a very good solution. Charge the polluters, and use, the revenue to reduce our personal income tax.

I'm not keen on green energy, it reminds me of that green stuff that comes out of alien spaceships.

All the green shift would have accomplished is to make everything far more expensive as polluters passed the cost on to consumers.

So I guess all the years before Dion the Libs accomplished absolutely sweet-fuck-all to meet the Kyoto Ponzi scheme. Chretein at his best.
