Emmy-winning character actor Harry Morgan, whose portrayal of the fatherly Col. Potter on "MASH" highlighted a career that included nine other series, died Wednesday. He was 96.

I was sad when I read this. He had a long run though, RIP.

Harry Morgan was a class act. Not many actors in Hollyweird that I respect but this guy was one of them.

I loved seeing him in his earlier days acting in the old Westerns but his best works were definitely Sgt. Bill Gannon in Dragnet and Col. Sherman Tecumseh Potter on MASH.
