most likely because of his outbursts in regards to the team poor attitude. Sometimes you have to call a duck and duck and address it. I love the Habs but they really need to clean house.

The few fans and the media that have beeen ragging about Cunnyworth's(sp?) lack of French just need to STFU and let the damn team play the game they love to play. Politics has no place in the NHL, especially stupid politics.
The team just has way too many distractions this year.

I don't get this at all. Cammallari says the team is shit, playing like shit, giving no effort and they trade ? Shouldn't it be the other 20 guys that are dragging ass that should be moved? When a player steps up and calls upon the entire team to start giving a shit, that's leadership. They should put the "C" on his chest, not send him packing. Don't you want your players to be pissed when they see their teammates not giving 100%? So they trade the one guy on the roster who seems to give a shit that the team isn't working hard enough. Wow.

Montreal traded him for Bourque thinking "Hey we got a pretty good Franco player in this deal" without realizing Bourque can't speak french!

Well, it's going to get a whole lot stupider too. Rene Bourque might have the most French name in the universe but he's a 100% Alberta boy who can't speak a word of French at all. There's no way that the goddamn ridiculous Quebec media and too many of those shithead Habs fans aren't going to go nuclear over this one.

I like Rene a lot and I'm sad to see him go but he's one of those quirky players that's incredibly difficult to keep motivated. He's been suspended twice already this season for some really dumb penalties too. Overall I'd say that Calgary really walked away with the best in this particular trade. It's not just the Camilleri factor but getting that young Finnish goalie from the Habs system could have a huge upside. The Habs seem to have an uncanny knack going back decades of drafting/creating all-start goaltenders so getting one out of their developmental system could cement the Flames goaltending future for the upcoming decade if the kid works out good. Jay Feaster could be turning into the second coming of Cliff Fletcher too as far as Flames GM's are concerned because I can't see anything but benefits to Calgary in this particular trade.

It's like it was written for the movie Slap Shot. Total bush league move.
