She got one letter dated Jan. 20 and another dated Jan. 27 saying her estate owes the government for money it received after her death.

Yesterday, someone from Revenue Canada called and apologized.

They can?t process the money she?s owed any faster though.

?I?m apparently alive again, but it?s going to take time to fall into place. It?s not just one computer system, it?s many,? she said.

They are vey fucked up over there.
Needs a huge cleanup and rethink how they do things.

I saw that piece on the news. It's not just 1 person, there are many. What makes this one so tragic, is that she is battling cancer, and undergoes chemo treatments.

What I find very ironic, is that apparently, it is one key stroke to declare someone dead (no need to check another box or put in the number that comes with the death certificate (and if it doesn't come with a number, it should), or the place of death, or whatever), and stop the checks and send people letters, but it takes 2 freaking months for the computer program to restore that. REALLY??

Shouldn't someone step up here and just write a damned check by hand, to manually put it in the computer so THEN it can take 2 damn months?

    WTF.
