As long as kids use 'gay' to mean 'bad', I totally support students being given the option to be away from that.
It's not segregation, it's a refugee program... School is painful HELL for gay students.
So why not teach acceptance in schools, instead of segregation?

For those that think that gays have problems in schools today, how difficult do you think it was for black kids in the USA when they put an end to segregation?

School is painful for fat kids, kids with acne, kids with speech impediments, kids with disabilities, kids with glasses, kids with braces....the list goes on.
We can't make a special school for everyone to avoid them being made fun of.
I don't get it... groups that want to be treated equally, like everybody else, asking for separate schools. Doesn't that kinda defeat the purpose?

And I am sure that the Supreme Court of the United States made their decision on Plessy vs. Ferguson for the same reasons.
I went to a segregated school for 3 years... the dreaded catholic "boys school".
