RIP, but not the last Auschwitz survivor. Eva Olsson spoke at my kids' public school a couple of weeks ago, so there's at least one other Auschwitz survivor who's alive and well yet.

Sad to see these people go. The majority of the Holocaust survivors I've met over the years have been among the nicest people I've known. While I am sure that some didn't handle it well, in my experience these folks all came through it with grace, elegance, and forgiveness far out of proportion to what they experienced.

That was a very touching read, Lemmy. Thank you. You're welcome. I highly recommend reading her book, "Unlocking Doors". It's surely available at your local public library. It's riveting. Her message, specifically regarding bullies, is as relevent today as it was in 1940.
